Ruth Waldron

At the age of 3, Ruth became familiar with gospel songs and harmonies whilst attending rehearsals at her church, The Peoples Christian Fellowship.  As the years rolled on Ruth developed her singing as a member of her church youth choir and also her school choir. Ruth’s appreciation of music deepened as she had opportunities to work and learn from leading gospel influences and distinguished gospel soloists.

Now in her teens Ruth auditioned and was accepted into professional gospel choir 'Visual Ministry'. Being trained by leading choir directors her passion for choir directing & training grew. Keen to teach what she had learnt she took every opportunity to teach school choirs, her church choir and soon doors to Denmark, Germany, Italy, Poland, Norway and even the USA opened.

Between the years of 2003-2006 Ruth collated the knowledge she had acquired of warming up the voice and published her first warm up book and CD which has been sold in the various countries    she has the privilege of touring. 'The Daily Vocal Workout' is her first venture of this kind.

Choirs from Europe often call on Ruth to hold teaching sessions or workshops with them and book choir visits to London. 2014 is the second workshop open to the public organized by Ruth where singers from various parts of Europe are taught gospel songs with a concert at the end.  www.lovegospel.eventbrite.com

One of the highlights during her years in music was to be the director for the first BBC Gospel Proms (2013) held at the Royal Albert Hall where some of the leading gospel choirs in the UK shared the journey of gospel music through song with a 150 voice mass choir.

In April 2014 Ruth was invited to sing at 'Color's Of Mercy' Concert which was held in Kraków, Poland. A concert where the greatest Polish musical artists and invited international guests gathered to celebrate the life and canonization of Pope John Paul II. An amazing, unique and uplifting event.

Ruth is employed in Flekkefjord Methodist Church and also a freelance tutor and has devoted her years to teaching and building artists, also singing on albums for artists such as
